It’s been two years.
You might not even remember how the heck you ended up on this mailing list, and that is ok.
I needed the time off.
Burnout, losing trust in my body, and journeying into the depths of what it means to make space for physical pain, for ancient traumas to process, and for new roots to grow into supportive grounds and communities.
I am grateful for this time, and trying to embrace the radicality of not producing constantly, beyond the societally conditioned guilt of “in-achievement”. (Apparently that is not a word, well I am coining it now).
Yet. Things have been creatively stirring for a while… And my body quietly growing strength.
This summer has brought unexpected opportunities to share my music and voice activation workshops informally within supportive communities, and burgeoning out of that…
I am now proud to announce some upcoming offerings!!!

My Vocal Workshops at Green Earth Awakening Camp 2026!
Wednesday 9 September to Sunday 14 September
I am super excited to be invited to facilitate at Green Earth Awakening this year.
Run by the Buddhafield festival team, this intimate, off-grid, drug and alcohol-free gathering of about 350 people is an absolute gem, powered by the Buddhist values of compassion and interconnectedness.
Think reconnecting to the Land and Each other through shared communal meals, fire side jams, folk music gigs, embodied practices, dance, talks and workshops exploring land skills, activism, spirituality and creativity.
Workshop 1: Rewilding the singing voice
A Somatic Voice Activation session for “I can’t sing” people and singers alike. Moving away from singing as performance, lyrics to remember and notes to hit, we co-create a safe playground to experiment and release blocks. A primal and playful journey through Shamanic vocal improvisation and tribal singing techniques.
Workshop 2: Wild Weave Singing Circle
What if a Choir and a Jam had a wild love affair? A shamanic vocal improvisation, human loop machine, safely held in harmony yet free from lyrics and solid plans. Space to follow along and space to freestyle, to merge then uniquely shine. All singing abilities and perceived inabilities welcome.

Scared and excited. Renting a venue, marketing, and holding the fort as a safe vocal haven will require sustained community love, so I am calling on those who feel drawn to get involved...
Winter plans cooking in my cauldron…
I also have a backlog of… dare I say so... kick-ass jazzy, world music folk songs with shamanic vocal improv layers to them.
I have been writing for the last few years, and it’s time to hit the record and release button.
I am also quietly working in the background on my Vocal Improv Medicine online course, a future treasure trove with lessons on all my singing techniques and somatic voice activation practices.
